Congratulations to the 2025-2026 SCYYRA Perry Series winners (and SCYYRA Racing Team Members), Wyatt Kelly and Fiona Barbeito! The Perry Series Perpetual Trophy is awarded to the champion team in the series. In the event that the winning team sailed all four regattas together, the trophy itself is presented to the crew for their invaluable contributions. This year, SDYC Commodore Alli Bell had the distinct honor of awarding the Perry Series Perpetual Trophy to Fiona Barbeito.
Wyatt (SDYC) and Fiona (ABYC) not only dominated the series, but are highly respected by coaches and peers both on and off the water. Wyatt will be sailing for Yale University this fall, and the Tufts University Sailing Team is lucky to have Fiona joining their ranks. Fair Winds, Fiona and Wyatt!
Thank you to all of the host clubs, racers, and parents who made this season such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the water in October!
