Dick Sweet -- North -- Shadden -- Ullman -- Perry -- Frost -- US Sabot Highpoint The purpose of this series is to promote team racing amongst other clubs in a fun, friendly and Corinthian manner. It is raced for in three boat teams with unlimited substitutions over the course of three separate one day events to be hosted by the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club, Newport Harbor Yacht Club, and San Diego Yacht Club. The trophy is currently located at the United States Sailing Center, Long Beach. It is a square, three tiered wooden trophy with two wooden sailboats on top. Each year the winning club’s name along with the names of the skippers and the club’s burgee will be inscribed on it.

It is raced for by members of the INSA Class in the Sabot “A” fleet during a four event series. The North Perpetual Trophy is a silver cup (110" high) placed upon a wood base (7" x 7" x 7"). The cup is engraved “1968 SDAYC Olympic Regatta First Place. The trophy is currently at the United States Sailing Center, Long Beach.
