Dick B. Sweet Sabot Team Race
The purpose of this series is to
promote team racing amongst other clubs in a fun, friendly and
Corinthian manner. It is raced for in three boat teams with unlimited
substitutions over the course of three separate one day events to be
hosted by the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club, Newport Harbor Yacht Club, and
San Diego Yacht Club.
The trophy is currently located at the
United States Sailing Center,
Long Beach. It is a square,
three tiered wooden trophy with two wooden sailboats on top. Each
year the winning club’s name along with the names of the skippers and
the club’s burgee will be inscribed on it.

INSA Class in the Sabot “A” fleet during a four event series.
The North Perpetual
Trophy is a silver cup (110" high) placed upon a wood base (7" x 7" x
7"). The cup is engraved “1968 SDAYC Olympic Regatta First Place. The
trophy is currently at the United States Sailing Center,
Long Beach.

juniors under the age of 21 over the course of four separate events

The Ullman perpetual trophy is composed
of two medals won by Dave Ullman, floating in Lucite with a walnut top
and large tiered walnut base. The medals were won at the 1978 Baltic Pre
Olympic Regatta in Talin, Russia. The trophy is currently located at
the United States Sailing Center,

The Perry Perpetual
trophy is a cup on a wooden base, and was awarded to Dave Perry when he
crewed for Harry Walker and won the 1983 Star Class, Southern Hemisphere
Championship. The trophy is currently at the United States Sailing
Center, Long Beach.
